The CAI is the recognised body for the aerial and satellite industry. We are committed to raising standards within the industry and whilst the criteria for membership is extremely high, the consumer is assured of a quality installation.
The CAI Plus Scheme was launched to create a higher membership category than already existed. All of ASAP's engineers have gained recognition as Accredited Digital Installers.
CAI plus members are required to provide the following three forms of evidence:
That they have obtained a satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
That they do hold certification proving CAI minimum standard liability insurance – Employers liability or the public/tradesman’s liability. (£2m for domestic installers and £5m for systems installers).
That they do hold certification proving Working Safely at Heights course has been completed.

RDI-LB are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. Focusing on identifying the UK's best installation engineers and registering them. To become licensed, installers must achieve our minimum qualification requirements and provide rdi-lb with updated details every year.
You should use a licensed installer because they are both skilled and qualified to make digital TV reception installations. Digital TV reception requires higher skill levels to both install and diagnose reception problems. A registered installer will have these skills and has been assessed to prove his or her competence in this field. Higher level installers will also be qualifed to work on commercially complex systems.
